Dave attempted to add levity to sometimes insane situations in the book. You’ll learn and laugh reading No Regrets. War Zones are no laughing matter. Yet, if you are living and working in one, you laugh or you lose your mind. The majority of the book is about Dave Kaelin’s work advising the Afghan National Security Forces. He served from 2007 to 2010 with the Afghan National Police while living on an Afghan National Army based called Camp Zafar. As of December of 2016, Mr. Kaelin is back in Afghanistan working with the Afghan National Special Security Forces as an Advisor.
